impact magazine shoots

i got a call from jay from impactmagazine in regards to shooting a couple projects for their current issue.
one was of a workout by shon at gold's gym in burnaby.
and the other was a testimonial about a lady's success story.

chinatown

i love our chinatown..it's so colorful..totally takes me back to life in manila..ah, yes..asia..we even found a filipino bakery!! i was so stoked!!! :) :) and there's something about those chinese stores with everything in them - inscense, lanterns, etc..i go NUTS in there...!

i took steph and tanya there today, and then we met naomi there.. always fun..always lots to take photos of..





























then we headed out to a great little sushi place, fumiyoshi, on howe street that my friend liz introduced me to..


















after we ate far too much we walked about and did a gangster chic pose for their new album...riiiiiiiiiiiiight!! i love the alleys of downtown..



























then we headed over to mr stanley's yard aka stanley park




























i think i'm gonna start a side business - personal city tours for tourists. charge a small mint, make some killer cash..dude..there's gotta be a market for that stuff somehow... :)

this is what happens...

after we left grouse mountain, we went to this little park on the way down the hill between grouse and the suspension bridge..can't remember the name for the life of me.. anyhow, they did ballet upon the bench, we hiked and saw the dam, then when driving home, steph decided she was gonna play around with my camera..

relax..i didn't REALLY dig..besides, i have a very clean nosterhole.. :)












next time it wont be as pretty... ;)

grouse mountain

caleb's class had a field trip, and stephers was down, and erin had a day off, so we all went to grouse mountain with caleb's class..

it was our first time up there..it was so much fun!! :) caleb and his best friend stanley had a blast after lunch..they started going down a small hill on their butts and soon every kids followed suit..such a leader, that boy.. :)

grouse was an awesome little day trip..definitely going back...
